LOST DOG
Annie
11/17/2012
A 10 lb. 4 year old Yorkie / Poodle mix by the name of Annie went missing on 11/17/2012 from a home in Manchester Twp. and ran into the woods on Congasia rd by Brockton Ct. in Crestwood Village #6. She was recently adopted from the Popcorn Park Zoo and has the Yorkie colors (tan & black) but the curly hair of a poodle.
The trail entrance (on Congasia Rd.) is marked with a lost dog flyer and an orange ribbon on the telephone pole. Here is the map location to get to the trail and where we searched today:
If you are able to search this area the marker on the map is where she was spotted the day she ran away. PLEASE contact us if you are able to help search. It has been several days and we only need one sighting so we can place a live trap. We need as many eyes as we can get, any and all help will be appreciated. Please either post or PM us on Facebook if you’re able to help in any way and if you need to talk to us for any reason you can call Debbie’s cell at 609-276-4939.
Update on Annie, today, 11/21/2012, a man in his late 60's early 70's about 5'6" gray hair and stocky built drove up and spoke with someone in the Ocean County North Animal Shelter in Jackson saying he lives in Crestwood Village and found a Yorkie Sunday night and if no one claims the dog he would keep it, The Shelter Attendant was busy at the time and told the man to call the Manchester Police and Animal Control and the attendant did not get the mans information. This man was driving a dark green with brownish tones Jag or Mercedes. I'm not sure if this man was just feeling out the shelter because we believe this is Annie that he found and she was wearing a collar with ID. He did not have the dog with him when he drove up to the shelter. Now we will focus our search on the houses that surround that patch of woods.
