I Lost My Dog, Lost Pet Recovery Ocean County

The Lost Dog Search & Rescue Team is a Ocean County NJ based 501c3 Non-Profit community organization dedicated to help re-unite lost dogs with their owners FREE of charge in the Toms River and surrounding areas in Ocean County NJ. For those dogs that we find that have been abandoned and dumped, we will give shelter, medical attention, rehabilitation & love and then find them forever homes.

The Lost Dog Search & Rescue groups main goal is to help find and reunite lost dogs with their owners. We do not just post a lost dog but in certain areas of Ocean County we will, at the owners request, go out and search for their dog. We are a Community oriented Group and do NOT charge for what we do.

Our second goal, as time and space allows, is to take in dogs that have been abandoned, classified as un-adoptable or have behavioral or medical issues that would cause a dog to be on the euthanasia list to either keep safe and care for till its time for them to cross the Rainbow Bridge or rehabilitate and adopt out. This is why you do not see a lot of adoptions come from our rescue. We do this strictly for the benefit of the dog!

We now offer a Certified Scent dog, Raven our King Shepherd. Aurora our Doberman is still in training. Scent Dogs are only used when deemed necessary and will not be used on every search

The Lost Dog Search Group was formed is because we know the helpless feeling you get when your dog goes missing and if there is no one around to help that helpless feeling turns into desperation. We want to help, maybe we can make a difference. Why We Started "I Lost My Dog"
